Terms of Service

Welcome to bondpb StockNews ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service at stocknews.bondpb.com, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're not long.

1. The Service

StockNews is a market alerts product that delivers push notifications for stock prices, ETFs, crypto, threshold-based "signal monitor" rules you define, and macroeconomic releases. Notifications are delivered via the third-party ntfy push service.

Market data is sourced from public providers (currently Yahoo Finance and FRED). Data may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. We make no warranty of accuracy or completeness.

2. Not financial advice

StockNews is an information tool, not financial advice. Nothing on the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, currency, or other financial instrument. Alerts are triggered by your own configured rules and are presented for informational purposes only.

You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions. Past performance and historical price movement do not predict future results. Consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By signing up you confirm you meet this age requirement.
• You're responsible for keeping your password (or Google account) secure. Notify us at support@bondpb.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One person, one account. Don't share credentials.
• Provide accurate information at signup. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or in violation of these terms.

4. Plans and billing

• The Service has a Free tier (currently 10 alerts, hourly cadence) and a Premium tier ($9.99 / month). Pricing and tier specifics may change with notice.
• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
• You may cancel at any time from Account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium access through the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to Free and re-enable Premium when payment succeeds.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or impose unreasonable load on the Service or its third-party data providers.
• Resell, redistribute, or republish the Service's outputs as your own product.
• Bypass authentication, billing, or rate-limit mechanisms.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantee. The Service depends on third-party providers (Yahoo Finance, FRED, ntfy, Stripe, Resend, Fly.io, Cloudflare) — outages or rate limits at any of them can affect alerts. We are not liable for missed alerts caused by upstream failures.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email when meaningful.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including its code, design, branding, and copy — is owned by bondpb and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of the alert configurations, watchlists, and other inputs you create within the Service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will be delivered on time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, bondpb shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, missed trades, or losses arising from late or missing alerts — even if we've been advised of the possibility. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

10. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are inactive for an extended period. On termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
